We are proud to share our enthusiasm and love for this great

MARK WARREN started playing the clarinet
in fourth grade. After two years he switched to the saxophone and
has been honking on them both ever since. He has a degree in classical
saxophone performance from San Jose State University, where he
studied with William Trimble. After college, he played in a variety
of settings from classical to rock and jazz. He has played on cruise
ships and toured the US and Europe both as a performer and musical
director. He came to Menlo in 1987 after deciding that he probably
ought to get a day gig...loved what he found here and never left.
Over the years he picked up his California teaching credential
in Music and has taught Computers and Music, Composition and Performance,
and AP Music Theory, in addition to developing the Jazz Band program |
