This FAQ page is provided as a mini-guide to navigating the Menlo School website. Instructions are provided to find the most commonly referenced pages and news sections.

How do I find out what’s going on at school? Click on the Events Calendar icon on the home page. This icon also appears on all of the top-level pages of every main section for easy access.

How do I find information relevant to parents? Move your mouse over the Parents tab and click! The For Parents page has links and announcements for our parents.

How do I find my US class news page? On the Home Page, find the +News button on the left side. (The “+” sign indicates that there are sub-items for this button.) Click on +News, and you will find your class news page listed. Simply click on whichever page you want to read. The class news pages are also accessible from the Parents page (click on Parents tab), and on the Upper School page (Drag to Divisions, then to Upper School and click).

How do I submit articles for my US class news page? Submit articles to your MSA Class Representative. The goal of the Class News Pages is to provide the news parents want and need!

How do I find the Daily Announcements? On the Home Page, find the +News button on the left side. The “+” tells you there are sub items for this button. Click on +News, and you see Daily Announcements as the first item under it. Simply click on Daily Announcements.

How do I find the Monday Memo? On the Home Page, find the +News button on the left side. The “+” tells you there are sub items for this button. Click on +News, and you see Monday Memo as the second item under it. Simply click on Monday Memo.

How do I find information specifically for Upper School Students? The Upper School Student Home Page has a calendar, links, and announcements relevant to US students. The page is updated frequently. Move your mouse over Student, then drag to US Student Page and click.

How can I find a teacher’s phone extension or e-mail address? On the Home Page, click on the Contact Us button on the left side. Faculty and staff are listed in alphabetical order, with an alphabetical index at the top of the list.

How do I find directions to away games? Move your mouse over the Athletics tab, drag to Upper School or Middle School, then drag to Directions to Games. If you need to go to a location not listed on this web page, please notify the US or MS Athletics Department that a game location is not listed, and ask them to send an update for that location to Menlo’s .

How to I find out the score of a game? For Upper School,move your mouse over the Athletics tab, drag to Upper School, then drag to Schedule Database and click. On the Atheltics Database page, you can search for a team’s schedule, scores, team rosters, coaches and team parents. Simply fill in the information you want to find and click on Submit. If you search for the same information frequently, bookmark your search results page! For Middle School, check the Monday Memo.

Who do I notify if information is missing from the US Athletics Database? Notify the US Athletics Department at . The Athletics Department maintains the database of athletics information.

How do I report a game score? For Upper School, send e-mail to . The Athletics department, not the Webmaster, maintains all game scores. Middle school game scores are not posted.

What if game scores aren’t listed? Notify the US Athletics Department at to either report a score or let them know what information you are unable to find.

Where is College Counseling information? College Counseling pertains only to Upper School. Move your mouse to the Divisions tab, drag to Upper School, drag to College Counseling, then click.

How can my senior find out when college visits are scheduled? Move your mouse to the Students tab, drag to Upper School, drag to College Visits and click. Updates to the College Visits calendar are submitted regularly.

Where are photos of school and class events? On the Home Page, locate the Menlo Memories button on the left side and click on it. Menlo Memories is a collection of photo albums of school and class events.

How do I submit photos for Menlo Memories? Follow the published Photo Guidelines on the Web Guidelines page.

How do I find special schedules like when the train shuttle runs, when final exams are scheduled, when the AP exams are, and things like that? On the Home Page, click on the Events Calendar icon. At the top of the calendar page are several Quick Links to the special schedules.

Can I purchase tickets for shows on-line? You cannot purchase tickets on-line. However you can download and print the Order Tickets by FAX form. On the Home Page, click on +Forms to open up the button. Click on Fax for Tickets, which is the first item in the forms list.

How do I find the calendar of US Performing Arts Department events? There are two ways.

1. All Performing Arts events will be listed in the school Events Calendar.
2. In addition, these events will be listed separately on the Fine Arts Calendar page. On the Home Page, move your mouse to the Fine Arts tab, drag to Upper School and click.

At the discretion of the fine arts teachers, rehearsal and travel schedules can also be listed here. Encourage your children’s directors and producers to send their show and rehearsal schedule information to the Menlo Webmaster at
